Karachi: District Malir police arrested 2 terrorists of the banned Baloch Liberation Federation involved in the attack on the police mobile of Shah Latif police station.
According to Express News, SSP Malir Hasan Sardar Niazi told the press conference that the arrested terrorist is a resident of Lyari Baloch Mohalla who was working for the outlawed BLF commander Ali Hasan Sangi for the last 8 months. The commander of the banned organization BLF had provided 5 hand grenades and 80 thousand rupees to the arrested terrorists, out of which the police have recovered 4 hand grenades and weapons.
The SSP revealed that the arrested terrorists wanted to target Chinese nationals. Terrorism was planned on the anniversary of suicide bomber Shari Baloch on April 26.
He also said that the terrorists had targeted the police mobile of Shah Latif police station on March 29 last month, after registering a case, the police and other law enforcement agencies were mobilized and after several days of hard struggle, the terrorists were defeated. Two terrorists of banned BLF, Murad and Waris, involved in violence were arrested. Moreover, if the terrorists were not arrested today, they would have escaped.
