Saudi Fund for Development has given a loan of 240 million dollars to Pakistan for the Mohmand Dam project.
According to Economic Affairs Division, Mohmand Dam project is to improve food and water security, the project is also to promote socio-economic development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In this regard, the Economic Affairs Division says that the Mohmand Dam project supports the SDGs in increasing access to clean energy and water.
The Economic Affairs Secretary thanked Saudi Arabia for continuous development cooperation and said that Saudi Arabia’s contribution to Mohmand Dam project is important.
