Lahore: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq announced to contact the political leaders for a consensus on the general elections.
In a statement issued from Jamaat-e-Islami center Mansurah, Jamaat leader Sirajul Haque said that the solution to the problems lies in a transparent national election instead of elections in two provinces. He said that the political leadership will be contacted for a consensus on the general elections.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami added in his statement that unfair distribution of resources, bad governance and corruption are the root of the problems, deadly inflation has also made it difficult for people to feed their children.
He said that for the improvement of the economy, we have to get rid of the usurious economy.
In his statement, Sirajul Haq condemned Zionist terrorism in Al-Aqsa Mosque and said that the heads of OIC and Islamic countries should take practical steps to stop Israeli atrocities.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami expressed regret over the loss of wheat crop due to unseasonal rains and said that due to unseasonal rains, the farmers have lost their lives, the whole nation should repent collectively.
