The Bollywood blockbuster film ‘Maine Pyaar Kya’ released in 1989 is still fresh in the minds of film fans.
Salman Khan and Bhagya Shri played the lead roles in the film.
From the fashion of the actors to the songs, everything in ‘Maine Pyaar Kya’ was a super hit.
But not many people know that before Salman Khan, Bengali actor Prasunjit Chatterjee was offered to act in this film.
In a recent interview Prasunjeet said that my Bengali film Amrasangi was a super hit.
He said that the shooting dates for other films were fixed, so I had to refuse ‘Maine Pyaar Kya’ even though I didn’t want to.
Prasunjit said that I was working on a Bengali film at that time.
His new film ‘Jubilee’ is nearing release, co-starring him with Aditi Rao.
