A 7-member team of Fourpaz International, consisting of veterinary experts, visited Karachi Zoo.
On this occasion, the spokesperson of Administrator Karachi said that the Fourpaz team also conducted a medical examination of the sick elephant Noor Jahan in the zoo.
The spokesman says that experts from Germany, Austria and other countries declared the enclosure of elephants inadequate, Administrator Karachi Saifur Rahman gave the indication to transfer the elephants to the Safari Park.
Administrator Karachi Dr. Saifur Rahman said that the treatment of the sick elephant has been started from today, all the facilities are being given to the team during the examination and treatment.
He said that all the medicines, x-rays and all other things have been provided for the treatment of elephant.
Administrator Karachi says that a team of international experts will conduct a complete health assessment of the elephant and treat it.
