According to the details, Predi police arrested the accused involved in the theft of more than 30 expensive mobile phones worth 80 lakh rupees from Star City Mall in Sadar.
According to sources, the arrested accused has been identified as Tanveer, who is a resident of Mansehra and was staying at a hotel in Sadar.
The accused has revealed during preliminary investigation that he did not go out of the mall while the shops were closed and when all the shops were closed, he broke the glass and stole mobile phones worth Rs 80 lakh and fled from the spot.
According to the sources, there are no shutters in the mobile phone shops in the mall and there are shops like showrooms whose glass doors are closed and the shopkeepers leave while there are many guards for the security of the mall.
