Important explanation of the Ministry of Finance regarding the increase in the prices of petroleum products

Islamabad: The Ministry of Finance denied the news circulating on social media regarding the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

In the statement released by the Ministry of Finance, it has been said that the prices of petroleum products have not been increased, the price increase notification spread on social media is fake.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance clarified that there was no increase in the price of petrol and diesel and the prices were announced yesterday.

Earlier, a fake notification of the Ministry of Finance regarding the increase in petroleum products went viral on the social networking site, which claimed that the government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 21 per litre.

It should be noted that a day ago, the government had announced to maintain the prices of petrol and high speed diesel for the next fifteen days, while reducing the price of kerosene and light speed diesel.
