Karachi: MQM Pakistan has decided to participate in the local body elections on April 18 and has said that our demands have been accepted, now we will participate in the elections.
According to Express News, in this regard, the Liaison Committee has called a meeting of the officials of various departments of MQM, in which they have instructed to start preparations for the local body elections.
According to MQM, MQM Pakistan has decided to participate in local elections of 11 union committees in Karachi on April 18. In these UCs, MQM candidates have submitted election forms, while MQM is responsible for all departments. Daran has been instructed to start preparing for the election.
According to the sources, MQM says that we had announced the boycott of local body elections for the reason that USCs should be increased in Karachi. Released Now we will participate in the election in 11 UCs in Karachi with full force.
It should be noted that on January 15, MQM had boycotted the local body elections, but now the elections of 11 UC chairman, vice chairman and 28 general councilors will be held in Karachi on April 18. MQM will participate in these 11 UCs, elections could not be held due to various reasons.
