An application was filed in the Lahore High Court to form a judicial commission on the death of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Ali Bilal alias Zal Shah.
The petition was filed by advocate Nadeem Sarwar in the Lahore High Court.
Punjab Government, IG Punjab and Deputy Commissioner among others have been made parties in the petition by Advocate Nadeem Sarwar.
In the petition, it has been requested that the Lahore High Court should order the formation of a commission to investigate the death of Zal Shah.
It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi had demanded a judicial inquiry into the death of Ali Bilal alias Zal Shah.
Parvez Elahi had said that if people like Rana Sana had been punished in the Model Town tragedy, the Zaman Park tragedy would not have happened today.
He had said that a judicial inquiry should be conducted into the Zal Shah incident, Mohsin Naqvi and IG Punjab are the top accused in the judicial inquiry.
