Florida: Depression and mental disorders are currently at their highest levels among school children and adolescents in the United States. According to scientists, it is now important not to impose unnecessary restrictions on children but to allow them to play and work freely.

According to a report published in the Journal of Pediatrics, American parents keep children in front of their eyes all the time and impose various restrictions on them. If the process is severe and long-lasting, it can lead to depression, anxiety and even suicidal thoughts in teenagers. However, an unusual ageism has definitely been noted in them.

However, it is important for parents to pay attention to their children because they want to protect their children from negative habits and dangers. But with unnecessary restrictions and invisible chains, children are constantly being knocked down and unable to jump into play, independently pursue their own activities, and gain life experiences on their own.

Florida Atlantic University professor David F. Horek Levand and his colleagues have considered that parents impose restrictions on children’s free activities that involve some degree of risk. This prevents children from continuing their favorite play or activities. Especially in the United States, its trend has increased and children have low self-esteem and motivation.

Parents cannot realize this condition and children gradually start suffering from depression and anxiety. Then the children themselves are able to play a positive role in the family and in their home.

Then children are also burdened with going to school, tuition and homework etc. Psychologists have also said that children make their own games and formulate their own rules. This way they learn and their confidence grows.
