Karachi: The police officers posted in Sindh were involved in the truck snatching incident in Karachi.

Gadap city police arrested 3 suspects including 2 policemen along with the car during the raid operation and recovered the stolen truck, according to the spokesman of district Malir police, policemen Naqeebullah and Saddam Hussain were among the arrested suspects in CIA district Nowshehru Feroze. while his third companion was identified as Ghulam Shabir.

According to the police spokesperson, during the operation, sub-inspector Dhani Bakhsh Brohi and an unknown accused escaped from the spot. They were taken as hostages and thrown into the bushes adjacent to the highway by tying their hands and feet and escaped by snatching the trucks.

Gadap Police arrested the accused in a raid near Main Super Highway Osmania Restaurant and recovered the stolen truck.

When contacted, SHO Gadap City Zulfikar Arain said that he has no knowledge about the Corolla car recovered from the possession of the accused. The truck has been exported. They have no information about the vehicle.

SHO Gadap further said that the arrested policemen and the absconding sub-inspector were posted on security duty on the occasion of Urs celebration in Sihon while the incident, according to the plaintiff’s case, took place near Superhighway Kathur at 4 pm on Wednesday. It came close.

According to the plaintiff, he and his partner were stopping the truck on the side of the road when it was hot and pouring water into it when 5 armed robbers took them hostage from the bushes and robbed him of Rs 5,000 and Rs 4,000 from his partner. Both tied their hands and feet and threw them in the bushes and snatched the truck and escaped. Later, they freed themselves from the ropes, after which they reached New Sabzi Mandi and informed the owner of the truck about the incident.
