The Islamabad District and Sessions Court also ordered action against those responsible for the torture of journalists in the case registered on February 28.
The court has ordered to record the statement of the journalists in the case registered under terrorism provisions.
In Islamabad High Court, there was a significant progress in the case of police torture on journalists, Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra pronounced the verdict of the case.
The court says that a case of terrorism has been registered before the incident of February 28, record the statement of the plaintiff and other journalists in the case of terrorism.
Adal said that the police should take action against the responsible as per the law.
The court order further stated that the journalists had requested action against the Assistant Commissioner and the officials involved.
