State Bank received remittances of $2 billion during February

Karachi: According to the State Bank of Pakistan (ECP), remittances of $2 billion have been received during February 2023.

According to ECP, remittances increased by 4.9% on monthly basis during February, while it decreased by 9.5% on annual basis. In addition, in the first eight months of FY23, remittances totaled 18 billion dollars.

According to the ECP, remittances are 10.8 percent lower than the same period last year. During February 2023, most of the remittances came from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
