On the orders of the Sindh High Court, Burns Road Food Street Karachi South Highway has been opened for the public.
According to the district administration, on the orders of the High Court, the operation on Burns Road continued from noon to evening. Burns Road was closed for a long time and the food street was run in the evening and even the resident public was not allowed to take their vehicles in from 6 pm onwards.
On which the residents of Burns Road approached the Sindh High Court against the decision of the Sindh government.
According to the district administration, no barrier should be placed on Burns Road Street. The Sindh High Court had ordered the Assistant Commissioner Aram Bagh to immediately remove all the obstacles. In compliance with the order of the court, the Encroachment Department of South Karachi District took action.
According to the district administration, the entry gate board on Burns Road was removed and the encroachment was stopped.
