The arrest warrant of Imran Khan issued by the Election Commission has been received by the police.
According to sources, the police authorities are considering various options to comply with the warrant.
Sources said that the police is considering the option of serving the warrant to WhatsApp and the PTI leadership to comply with the arrest warrant.
Sources have told that how the IG Islamabad will comply with the warrant, the decision is expected by tonight.
Police officials say PTI workers in Lahore resisted complying with non-bailable warrants.
It should be noted that yesterday bailable arrest warrants were issued for Imran Khan and Fawad Chopra for not appearing before the Election Commission in the contempt of Election Commission and Chief Election Commissioner cases.
The Election Commission had ordered Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry to appear before the Election Commission on March 14 through the IG Police.
