Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa called Election Commission for consultation instead of giving date for provincial assembly elections. The governor says he will give a date after consultation.
After the decision of the Supreme Court, the Election Commission had written a letter to Governor KP regarding the date of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly elections, to which Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has replied.
In this regard, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told Express that he has called the Election Commission for consultation. The Election Commission has been asked to come and consult on March 7 or 8.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali said that he will review the entire situation and give the date of provincial assembly elections after consultation.
