Gujranwala: Three accused who raped women during house robbery were arrested, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi took notice of the matter and asked for a report from the IG.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the arrested accused had raped women in four cases of robbery. Among the arrested accused are Aamir, Zeeshan Shani and Sajid, in which Zeeshan and Aamir are brothers.
The spokesperson of Punjab Police says that the accused were arrested by the special team of CPO Gujranwala with the help of modern technology. Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took notice of the incidents of rape during the robbery and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused while seeking a report from the IG.
According to the police, the first incident of rape took place on February 22 in Muraliwala area of Tatle Ali police station. In the incident on February 26, robbers tied the family with ropes, took the woman and her 13-year-old daughter to the fields and raped the mother and daughter at gunpoint.
The police say that a third incident took place in Harnanwali area of Ludhiwala Waraich police station on February 28. In this incident as well, robbers tied up the family members and robbed them and took the woman to the fields. The accused gang-raped the woman.

Police say that the mother and daughter who were raped on February 26 got scared and shifted to their relatives’ house in the same locality. On March 1, the robbers reached the same house where the mother and daughter were staying, the accused saw the victim there and raped her again. The police registered separate cases of all the incidents but the accused could not be arrested.
The police say that the same three-member group is involved in all four incidents and the method of the incident is also the same. In all four incidents, poor and remote families were targeted, four different police teams and the CIA police were accused. are being searched and all resources are being used to arrest the accused. In Gujranwala, four incidents of robbery by women in one week had scared the citizens.
