Peshawar High Court has remarked that PTIMNAs want to go back to the assembly, they think it is child’s play.

A hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on petitions against acceptance of resignations of PTI members of the National Assembly. The lawyer said that we have challenged the Election Commission and the Speaker’s notification.

Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan inquired that the members want to go back to the assembly, why did they resign? The lawyer replied that the members had resigned in protest against the overthrow of the government.

Justice Ejaz Anwar remarked that he thinks this is child’s play, earlier they used to say that the resignation should be accepted, they used to go to the speaker with a procession, now they say that we want to go back to the assembly.

The lawyer requested that the by-election is being held on March 16, the court should stop the by-election, and the March 16 election should be postponed.

Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said that you don’t want to go to the Assembly quickly, who is responsible for what is happening in the country?

Justice Ejaz Anwar said that I have been appointed as the judge of the Election Tribunal, another bench will hear the case tomorrow.
