Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has reacted to the picture of Lieutenant General Retired Amjad Shoaib going viral on social media during his detention.
Imran Khan shared a picture of Amjad Shoaib on social networking website Twitter and wrote that seeing him like this makes me feel ashamed as a Pakistani.
Imran Khan says that the imported government has sent a Pakistani patriot to jail on charges of sedition.
It should be noted that the photo of Lieutenant General Retired Amjad Shoaib during detention has gone viral on social media.
Amjad Shoaib is in police custody on 3-day physical remand, he has been arrested for allegedly making inflammatory statements on TV.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq had directed the lawyer to remove the objection while maintaining the objections of the office on the request for dismissal of the case against Lieutenant General retired Amjad Shoaib.
On Amjad Shoaib’s request, the court adjourned the hearing for a day, directing the lawyers to remove the objection.
