FIA gave clean chit to Jahangir Tareen and son, case dismissed

Lahore: Former PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen got major relief from FIA.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has dismissed the case against Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen and said that FIA’s case of Jahangir Tareen should be formally filed in the office after court orders.

Court orders cancellation of FIR after considering IO’s report. During the inquiry, no illegal method of money laundering and transfer of money in dollar form came to light.

According to the investigating officer, as per the court order, all the transactions have been done in accordance with the SECP Act. The accusations and provisions against Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen are not true.
