Karachi: An important meeting of the coordination committee of MQM Pakistan was held in Bahadurabad on local body constituencies and other issues in which important decisions were taken.
According to the sources, the political situation of the country, constituencies, census and other public issues were discussed in the meeting of the coordination committee, while the issue of non-issue of notification regarding the constituencies by the People’s Party was also discussed in detail.
Sources say that MQM has now decided to put its demands before the government through public power after not getting any positive response on the correctness of constituencies and other demands.
It was decided in the meeting that MQM will demonstrate public power in Karachi on March 12 by holding a meeting at Bagh Jinnah. The formal announcement of the meeting will be made through a press conference.
Sources say that after Karachi, public power will be demonstrated in the form of a meeting in Hyderabad, MQM will announce the future plan of action in the meetings.
