PTI’s Muhammad Mohsin Leghari won over PML-N’s Amar Ahmad Khan Leghari in the by-election of National Assembly Constituency 193 Rajanpur 1.
Inconclusive and unofficial results of 111 out of 237 polling stations of NA 193 have come out.
Mohammad Mohsin Laghari of PTI is in the first position with 46 thousand 688 votes and Ammar Ahmed Khan of PML-N is in the second position with 26 thousand 915 votes.
In this seat, the candidate of People’s Party Akhtar Hasan Gorchani is on the third position with 9 thousand 612 votes.
In NA-193 by-election, the counting of votes started after the polling time ended.
The total number of voters in this seat is 3 lakh 79 thousand 204, for which 237 polling stations were established.
This seat fell vacant due to the death of PTI MNA Sardar Jafar Laghari. 11 candidates are contesting the by-election.
The polling was overall peaceful and there was a lot of excitement in various areas.
