Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that all the decisions taken in the Sindh Cabinet meeting have been made for the welfare of the people of Sindh. The meeting approved the appointment of primary teachers in Obaro, it has been decided to arrest those who throw garbage on the roads.

Addressing the press conference after the Sindh Cabinet meeting, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the Sindh government spends billions of rupees on solid waste, people also throw the debris of their houses on the road, due to which Along with blocked drains, other problems are also faced.

He said that it was decided in the Sindh Cabinet meeting that those who throw debris on the roads should be arrested, in this regard, instructions have also been issued to the SHOs.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that in the Sindh Cabinet meeting it was also decided to bring e-logistics portal and provide e-payment facility. There are 48 departments in Sindh, 16 departments will be digitized, and the work of all these departments will be computerized, which will ensure transparency in the departments, people’s problems will be solved online only, with the support of the World Bank. This work will be completed this year.

He said that these departments include Food, Environment, Revenue, SBCA, Municipalities and other departments. Instructions have also been issued to make necessary rules.

Sharjeel Memon said that a modern hospital, school, autism center and playground for special children will be built on 100 acres of land on Malir Expressway, which has been approved by the Sindh Cabinet, earlier by the Sindh Government and the Chief Minister of Sindh. Many centers have been established with the efforts of Murad Ali Shah.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that in the cabinet meeting, the registration fee for electric cars has been extended for another two years at 1000 rupees, we had brought fifty EV buses, now more EV buses will be operated. And new routes will be started, our target is to run eight thousand buses.

He said that the Sindh Cabinet meeting was also informed about the discussions with the federal government regarding the steel mill, there was a detailed discussion between the federal government and the Sindh government on the steel mill and it was decided to run the steel mill. It has been reported that the Sindh government is going to build an export processing zone on the land of the steel mill, it will be a special economic zone, and the steel mill will be put on its feet with the earnings from this zone.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that bread, cloth and house is the slogan of the People’s Party, the Sindh government of the People’s Party is going to build housing societies for various departments, in these societies, government employees will be given plots at a very low price and the employees Will be able to pay for the plots in installments.

He said that a committee consisting of cabinet ministers has been formed on the issue of government land for the corporate agricultural farming project, which will decide, recommendations will be presented in the next meeting of the cabinet. 713 acres of government land was given.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the water plant on Hub River has been approved in the cabinet meeting, the project will be started soon for the citizens of Karachi and the water problem in the city will be solved soon. He said that new EV bus routes will be started in Karachi, the first province of Pakistan is Sindh and its city is Karachi where eco-friendly EV buses are running. Yes, the rent will also be reasonable, Sindh is the only province which first started working on alternative energy and established wind power generators.
