Islamabad: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet has approved the increase in the privileges and allowances of provincial ministers, advisers and special assistants.
The fifth meeting of the provincial cabinet was held in Pakhtunkhwa House, Islamabad, in which it was decided that 2 lakh rupees will be paid instead of 70 thousand rupees as monthly rent to such ministers, advisers and special assistants who do not belong to Peshawar and who are not from Peshawar. Live in rented houses.
Counselor Information Barrister Saif said that the payment of utility bills will also be included in this two lakh rupees. According to information advisor Barrister Dr. Seef, this increase for the ministers was due to the increase in house rents, while the fund provided to the deputy commissioners is not secret but will be provided through the bank, which will also be audited.
In this regard, 1303 million rupees have been allocated to the Deputy Commissioners of the merged districts for the year 2021-24.
