Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami announced a movement against the importation and unnecessary purchase of wheat during the caretaker government and also demanded a judicial inquiry into the scandal.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while talking to the media in Lahore said that there is a huge crisis in the whole country including Punjab. Because the government is not buying wheat, if this is the state of agriculture, then what will happen to the country, industries are closing down, severe crisis is emerging.

He said that our agriculture sector is being killed at night, the aid price of Rs 3900 is very low.

He said that the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haque and the Caretaker Minister allowed the import and the ship arrived within a week. If there was wheat, why was wheat imported from abroad, they took money by begging the IMF and unnecessarily. Wheat Mangwali, importers earned thousands of rupees, all those involved should be exposed.

He emphasized that there should be a judicial inquiry into the matter, everyone should appear before this inquiry commission, the Chief Justice should also bring this case forward, if anyone is in the position of a chief or a senator, he should be suspended and enquiry. Those who caused a loss of one million dollars to Pakistan should be brought to justice.

Hafiz Naeem said that it is a joke that the prime minister should make a statement that we will buy wheat, and his chief minister’s niece says that we will not buy wheat. When farmers protest, they are arrested. This is a fake government.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that we are giving a four-day ultimatum to the Punjab government to buy wheat at the official price, otherwise we will surround the Chief Minister’s House, if they try to stop the protest, the overthrow of their government will begin soon. .
