Cambridge: A new study has found that people who recover from breast cancer have an increased risk of developing other cancers.
According to media reports, British researchers in their recent study revealed that although a person cured of breast cancer has a very low risk of developing another cancer, it is still higher than those who have never had breast cancer. Cancer did not occur.
“This is the largest study to date of the risk of other cancers among breast cancer survivors,” said Antonis Antoniou, a researcher at the University of Cambridge in the UK and senior author of the study.
