Karachi: 3 cases related to the suicide attack on the van of foreigners in Landhi Mansehra Colony have been registered in the Counter Terrorism Department.
The cases were filed by SH Oshraf Goth Arshad Awan, which included murder, attempted murder, police encounter, anti-terrorism, damage to property and Explosives Act, among other provisions.
The dead terrorists, their facilitators and masterminds were named in the cases. The first case was of suicide attack, the second was of weapons received from terrorists, and the third was of explosives and grenades.

According to the text of the FIR, three vehicles used by foreigners, a Suzuki pick-up and a motorcycle were damaged in the blast. The motorcycle of the terrorists killed on the spot was seized by the police.
The terrorist killed in police firing was identified as Sohail Ahmed. 4 hand grenades, one RPG, 3 rifle grenades, one SMG rifle grenade and several grenades were recovered from his bag. 4 SMGs and other weapons were recovered from the shoulder bag of one of the terrorists.
