Physical remand of GAPCO officers arrested on fake billing and bogus entries approved

Gujranwala: The court approved the physical remand of GAPCO officers arrested on charges of making fake billing and bogus entries.

According to Express News, FIA produced the arrested officers and employees of Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GAPCO) in the court, where the court approved the 2-day physical remand of the accused and handed over the accused to the FIA.

It should be noted that 20 officers and employees of GAPCO were detained by FIA last night. FIA had registered a case against GAPCO officers and employees for making fake billing and bogus entries.

Among the arrested accused are 5 Revenue Officers, Assistant Manager and Additional Managers. Apart from this, 6 divisional account officers and 5 commercial assistants and employees are also included in the accused.
