Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to review the issues of national security and the security of Chinese citizens every month.
Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting regarding the law and order situation in the country, in which he said that the war will continue until the monster of terrorism is completely eradicated from the country.
The Prime Minister also directed the Interior Ministry to increase cooperation from the provinces for the elimination of terrorism in the country and further improvement of the provincial anti-terrorism departments.
It was decided that the Prime Minister would personally review the meetings regarding national security, especially the security of Chinese residents working on various projects. In the meeting, the Prime Minister also directed all the security agencies to take measures to make the security of the Chinese citizens fool-proof.
Shahbaz Sharif also directed to make a comprehensive plan for regular audit of security SOPs.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Interior gave a briefing to the Prime Minister regarding the overall peace and security situation of the country and the performance of the Ministry. The meeting was attended by Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, heads of security agencies and relevant senior officials.
