Railway revenue reaches all-time high, earning 66 billion in 9 months

Lahore: The revenue of Pakistan Railways reached the highest level in the country’s history. Earned 66 billion rupees in 9 months.

By the end of this financial year, the revenue of Pakistan Railways is likely to be more than 80 billion rupees, while the department also has 10 days of diesel stock. Apart from this, 1.5 lakh liters of diesel has also been purchased for the uninterrupted operation of trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to CEO Aamir Ali Baloch, 100% booking of special trains has been completed. Thanking the passengers for trusting the railways. Railway management has decided to install extra coaches in Eid special trains. This decision was taken in view of the demand of passengers.

The Railways has also sent the employees’ salary due on April 10 to the banks 5 days earlier, whereas earlier the salaries were delayed by three weeks.
