8 judges of Islamabad High Court received threatening letters filled with powder

Islamabad: 8 judges, including the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, have received threatening letters filled with powder, on which the police called experts.

According to Express News, a new incident has come to light regarding the judges of Islamabad High Court. According to judicial sources, letters filled with powder have been sent to them. When the staff of two judges opened the letters, there was powder inside.

After receiving the letters, a team of experts from the Islamabad Police reached the Islamabad High Court and started examining the powder found inside the letters.

Judicial sources have said that there is a threatening sign inside the letter, a woman has sent letters to the High Court judges without writing her address, eight suspicious letters have been received, these letters were sent to 8 judges including Chief Justice Amir Farooq. The silk letter was written by a woman named Alia Waqar Hussain.

According to the sources, the Islamabad High Court summoned the IG Islamabad Police and the DIG Security immediately.
