Islamabad: PTI approached the Islamabad High Court for permission to hold a rally in the federal capital.
PTI’s Aamir Mughal filed an application in the Islamabad High Court through lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat for permission to hold a rally in Islamabad.
Interior Secretary, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and IG Islamabad have been made parties in the petition.
The petition has requested that the court should order the parties to hold a rally on March 30 at 10 pm in Islamabad, PTI should be allowed to hold a rally at Parade Ground F9 Park or D Chowk.
In the petition, the stand was adopted that the court should issue orders to the parties to block the roads on the day of the rally, not to take violent action against the participants.
