Rawalpindi: A traffic warden who was run over by a drunk driver while on duty became an example of courage despite his disability, continued to perform his duties and pursued higher education, earning a gold medal in MS Development Sciences.
City Traffic Police Rawalpindi Warden Abdul Razzaq joined City Traffic Police Rawalpindi in 2007 and continues to perform duties, in the year 2021 he tried to stop a speeding car while on duty but the car rider ran over the warden.
In the accident, Abdul Razak’s leg was broken in several places, due to which he was under treatment for a long time, but during this time, Abdul Razak did not lose heart and continued to achieve success in the field of education.
Abdul Razzaq first did his MSc in International Relations and now also holds the honor of receiving Gold Medal in MS Development Science from Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.
City Traffic Police officers and force organized a function at the City Traffic Police Headquarters to felicitate Abdul Razzaq for his outstanding performance despite duty and disability.
