Karachi: Cyber Crime Circle Karachi raided the call center involved in illegal activities and arrested 3 suspects.
According to the details, the cyber crime team raided the call center called Generation 96 and arrested Abdul Hameed, Shahan Afzal and Nauman Ali, the accused used to make fake calls by pretending to be bank representatives.
According to the authorities, the accused used the latest technology to make the said calls, the accused used to obtain and misuse the debit card details of the customers by forgery.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the accused used the forged debit cards to purchase air tickets and hotel bookings, the accused also used the said cards to pay admission fees for local and international students.
Apart from this, the accused had also created fake websites, the products were not delivered despite receiving money from the accused.
