Karachi: In Sindh, it has been decided to promote students from nursery to third class without examination.
The Sindh Education Department has prepared the schedule for the new academic year, according to which the academic year of schools and colleges will start from August 1, while it has been decided to promote students from nursery to third class without examination.
According to the schedule, the exams of class 4th to 8th will be held from 15th to 27th April. The board exams of class IX and X will be held in May and it has been decided to start the exams of class XI and XII in the last week of May.
The education department has decided to announce the matric results by July 31, while the INTER results will be announced by August 31. 20% MCQs, 40% Constructed and 40% Extended questions will be given in the exam.
Summer vacations in educational institutions in Sindh will be from 1st June to 31st July while winter vacations will be from 21st December to 31st December.
