Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held intra-party elections across the country.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur was elected PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president unopposed. Provincial Election Commissioner Qazi Anwar Advocate announced that the panel of Ali Amin Gandapur was elected unopposed.
Noorul Haque Qadri was elected as Senior Vice President, Arbab Jahandad Khan as Vice President, Ali Asghar Khan as General Secretary, Irfan Saleem as Additional General Secretary, Fakhar Zaman as Deputy General Secretary.
Chief Federal Election Commissioner Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Rauf Hasan said in a press conference in Islamabad that the results of the intra-party election in Balochistan will come today. In Balochistan, there is competition between Amin Khan Jogezai Panel, Dawood Shah Panel and Munir Ahmad Baloch Panel.
It should be noted that Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan was elected unopposed as the Chairman of the party on March 1 and Umar Ayub as General Secretary as their rival leaders withdrew their nomination papers.
Similarly, PTI Punjab President Yasmin Rashid and PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil were also elected unopposed.
