Peshawar: The woman was arrested while stealing mobile phone and cash in BRT, the CCTV footage of the woman’s escape also came to light.
According to Express News, an incident of theft by a woman has taken place in Peshawar’s BRT bus service, the video of which has also come out. It can be seen in the video that the woman tried to run away by stealing cash and mobiles.
According to the police, the woman stole the mobile phone and cash from the passenger and tried to escape after getting down from the bus at Hayatabad Phase III station and started running under the fair gate.
Meanwhile, BRT security officials tried to stop the woman and caught her on the way, CCTV footage of her running away from the station has also emerged.
According to Trans Peshawar spokesperson, BRT security has handed over the woman to the police.
