Recently, the Pakistan Literature Festival was organized by the joint effort of Karachi Arts Council and Lahore Arts Council, which was memorable in every respect, Karachi Arts Council President Ahmed Shah Jahan was able to bring local and foreign artists and writers to Lahore. Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also took the lead in propagating the traditions of his land.

Executive Director Al-Hamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi and his team, especially Deputy Director Sobh Sadiq, also worked day and night to make the festival a success.

Literary and cultural personalities Fateh Muhammad Malik, Anwar Maqsood, Iftikhar Arif, Khursheed Rizvi, Nair Ali Dada, Mian Ejazul Hasan, Nasira Iqbal, Salima Hashmi, Mustanasir Hussain Tarr, Kishore Naheed, Ataul Haque Qasmi, Pir. Yasir Pirzada while talking said that this book is good for NAB officers, investigators and policemen. It is a gift so that they can understand the pain of Kunj Kafs. This book seems to smell of rebellion but it is a lament before this fake society. The fact is that both civil service and poetry should cherish Fawad.

At the end of the session, the author of the book, Fawad Hasan Fawad, expressed his opinion and said that I have only one message for the young generation that they should never accept any narrative that is based on a sect or a particular group or hatred and read the book within themselves. Strengthen the habit of this you will not be a victim of any narrative, he also recited a poem written by him on current affairs.

On the last day of the festival, a condolence reference was held in memory of eminent poet, playwright and writer Amjad Islam Amjad. . Anbarin Haseeb Anbar kept crying repeatedly during the conversation and said that I do the program daily but Amjad Islam was for Amjad, she cannot say.

The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi gave Lifetime Achievement Award to three intellectuals Kishore Naheed, Nayyar Ali Dada and Naheed Siddiqui while famous singer Natasha Baig, Sahir Ali Baga and singer Asim Azhar performed brilliantly at the Pakistan Literature Festival.

President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah thanked the people of Lahore and said that when we were coming here, I was worried about how the people of the city will behave in the new city and now I don’t want to leave.

He said that Lahore is the hometown of Balhe Shah, Iqbal, Faiz and Data. We were welcomed by Zinda Dalan Lahore, we will come again and again and we will come soon – Naheed Siddiqui performed a dance during the closing ceremony, while well-known singer Natasha Baig, singer Asim Azhar and Sahir Ali Baga created the magic of sound, attracting thousands of people. The people of Lahore Pakistan Literature Festival had not yet come out of the charm of the International Faiz Festival. Faiz Festival was inaugurated during a grand ceremony at Alhamra Art Gallery on the first day. The same evening, Ajuka Theater’s play “Inhi Mai Da Safna” was presented which was well received by the audience. Renowned singer Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan also performed in which a large number of literati participated.
