Election security plan of Islamabad Police is final, leave of officials is cancelled

Islamabad: The Federal Police has finalized the election security plan, in this regard the leave of officials has been cancelled.

According to the spokesperson of the Capital Police, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan regarding the election, in which all the Capital Police officers, SSP Operations, AIG Operations and DPOs were present. attended

The Federal Police has finalized the security plan regarding the election, but the practical measures are delayed due to the non-release of funds. The election will be administratively divided into eastern and western parts under the supervision of DIG level officers.

In connection with the elections, the vacations of all the police personnel have been canceled and a ban has been imposed on the vacations until further notice. Volunteers and retired police officers will be recruited for additional and disciplinary duties. 500 women volunteers have been requested from the district administration for women polling stations.

It was decided in the meeting that violation of the code of conduct of the election will not be tolerated. No exception will be taken for display of arms, protest, aerial firing or disturbance of public order before, during and after the election. Cameras will be installed at all sensitive polling stations. A central control room will be established in Safe City Islamabad. 10000 personnel of Islamabad Police and other law enforcement agencies will perform their duties.

According to the spokesman, the first priority of the Islamabad Capital Police is to hold peaceful elections. Citizens should report any unusual activity on Pikaar 15 or ICT 15 app.
