Karachi: In Shahr Quaid, robbers killed a shopkeeper and injured 4 people in front of the police station.
According to Express News, the robbers fired indiscriminately at the resistance during the robbery at the milk shop in front of the alleged town police station on Abul Hasan Isfahani Road, due to which the people present at the spot ran into a stampede and panic spread.
According to the police, the dead person was identified as 40-year-old Abdul Bari, while the 4 injured persons were identified as 42-year-old Waseem, 35-year-old Farhan Ali and 30-year-old Muhammad Ayub. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The duty officer, alleged Town ASI Dar Muhammad, said that the deceased Abdul Bari was the owner of the shop while 2 suspects came on a motorcycle, 10 shells of 9 mm pistol were found at the scene.
The police said that initially the incident is being reported to have happened on resistance during the robbery, but in the incident of robbery, 10 shots are not fired by the robbers. Searching is underway to help determine the cause of the shooting and identify the accused.
Meanwhile, a passer-by girl was injured as a result of indiscriminate firing by bandits who fled after looting in Buffarzone Sector 15A2, who was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for immediate medical attention, where she was identified as 6-year-old Ariba.
