The appeals of Pervez Elahi and his wife for approval of nomination papers were rejected

Rawalpindi: Against the rejection of the nomination papers of former Chief Minister Pervez Elahi from NA-59 and PP-23. The appeals were dismissed.

According to Express News, Judge Chaudhry Abdul Aziz of the High Court Election Tribunal gave a reserved decision.

Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisara Elahi has also been disqualified from NA 59 and PP 23, both husband and wife have been found guilty of concealing assets, not disclosing foreign visits of the wife. The objection of not disclosing the shares in the reports and different companies was also found to be valid.

According to the Election Tribunal, the objection of not opening bank accounts for separate expenses for both the constituencies, technical errors in the documents, the objection of not getting proper confirmation from the Oath Commissioner has also been found to be valid.
