Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has said that he will give the date of election not in the court but from his office.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the court is honorable but cannot call me.
He said that I respect the civil court as well as the high court, but the court cannot tell me, the constitution has given me protection.
The journalist inquired whether you will give the date of the election before the court. To this, Governor Ghulam Ali replied that he will give the date of the election not in the court but from his office.
He said that the Election Commission said that no institution is providing facilities, we should consult on the issue of elections.
Haji Ghulam Ali added that I had repeatedly said that do not break the assemblies, being the constitutional head, I can call anyone and ask for details.
He said that I also think about elections, free movement of voters and law and order.
The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also said that the Election Commission was first asked to consult with the institutions, we are trying to ensure that the elections are peaceful.
