Rawalpindi: The former member of the PTI Provincial Assembly was arrested in connection with the May 9 case.
Thana City Police arrested former MPA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Umar Tanveer Butt from the Anti-Terrorism Court in the case registered in Thana City regarding the tragedy of 9.
Young MPA Umar Tanveer Butt from Rawalpindi also surrendered in the court.

Former member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Provincial Assembly Umar Tanveer Butt appeared in the court for interim bail with his lawyers and surrendered himself before the court after filing the application.
Judge Malik Ijaz Asif disposed off the interim bail on surrender. The former MPA said on this occasion that the entire party including the chairman has condemned the tragedy of May 9. We hope that we will get justice. The case was advertised, now surrendered. He said that he will contest the election on the ticket of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
