Rawalpindi: Sheikh Rasheed’s interim bail has been extended in 10 cases including the GHQ attack.
The hearing on the application for interim bail in 10 cases against Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, including the GHQ attack case, was held in the Anti-Terrorism Court, where prosecutors, investigation teams and lawyers appeared before Judge Malik Ijaz Asif. happened Sheikh Rasheed was also present in the court on this occasion.
After hearing arguments on the application, the court extended the interim bails of former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, his nephew Sheikh Rashid till January 4.
Later, while talking to the journalists, Sheikh Rasheed said that I have nothing to do with these cases. I was not here on May 9. I have been banned from talking to the media. I have always respected institutions. If I am alive, I will contest the elections from NA 56 and 57 on Penduat.
