Lahore;  Proposal to compensate citizens for killing eagles

Lahore: The Metropolitan Corporation has decided to kill the cheel instead of taking action against the cheel meat sellers. A proposal to give a reward of 1000 rupees to a citizen who shouts. The National Alliance of Animal Rights Activists and Advocates has decided to challenge this move in the High Court.

Flocks of disciples are seen flying in the skies of Lahore. Especially the areas along Ravi River Bridge, Dumping Site Area and Lahore Canal Road where cheel meat sellers stand.

The government has imposed a ban on the sale of cheel meat, but this business is not ending due to the incompetence and collusion of the administration.

Cheils gather to eat this meat, it sometimes causes accidents to motorcyclists while small birds including sparrows, hawks, larks are getting extinct due to these scary and hungry cheils.

The Metropolitan Corporation has decided to kill the chelas themselves for failing to stop the sale of cheel meat. Those who kill Cheil will be given Rs 1,000 by the Metropolitan Corporation.

Proposals have been sought from Metropolitan Corporation Lahore to adopt the strategy of killing the disciples, after approval of which the Section Officer Regulations has issued a letter for gazette notification.

In the post issued under Section 140A of the Local Government Act 2022, it is said that the person who brings the marker to the Cheil will be given Rs 1,000 as a reward.

Instructions have been issued to the Metropolitan Officer Finance to allocate the amount in the budget of the next financial year, the amount will be released after the confirmation of the concerned Enforcement Inspector and MO Regulation.

According to the post, aerial fire can be fired to kill the eagle while saving human life. Throwing pieces of meat on the roof of a building, restaurant, hotel for bird food will be sealed.

The concerned zonal officer within the city limits will be responsible for the regulation of meat and the compilation of meat records, while the concerned enforcement inspector will be authorized to take action against the meat sellers as per the by-laws.
It has also been said in the post that an FIR will be registered under Section 188 for interference in the government against the sellers of cheel meat, suggestions have been sent to the administrator Lahore for approval, after approval a gazette notification should be issued. will

On the other hand, National Alliance of Animal Rights Activists and Advocates Focal Person Aniza Khan Umarzai says this will be a very cruel move. This move will be challenged in the Lahore High Court. He said that the administration now wants to kill the disciples to hide their incompetence.
