Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Police has started auctioning the assets of ‘Traitor Watan’ Adil Raja, SHO Naseerabad police station has formally approached the local court.
Police sources said that a case has been registered against convict Adil Raja in Naseerabad police station on the request of citizen Muhammad Maskeen Butt.
The accused has been hiding abroad for one and a half years deliberately to avoid arrest. SHO Naseerabad police station has taken a position requesting the local court to issue an order to auction the assets of the accused in Case No. 848, including two valuable plots, 2 vehicles and a flat.
Police sources said that the plot, one apartment and two vehicles in two private housing societies of Adil Raja will be auctioned as soon as the court order is received.
