Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to take legal action against the former ministers, MPs and officers for not returning the official vehicles.
A committee has been set up to search for official vehicles and investigate official vehicles being used by unrelated people, Chief Secretary Sindh Dr Fakhar Alam has set up a five-member committee.
The committee headed by Additional Secretary S&GDA will investigate the missing government vehicles while the investigation committee will also check the record of purchase of vehicles from 2007 to 2016, where were the government vehicles used illegally? The Inquiry Committee will also examine this.
According to the notification, the committee set up by the Sindh government will write to the officers, former ministers and former MPs to return the vehicles within seven days.
