Islamabad: Bail application filed after arrest in 190 million pounds corruption case by Chairman PTI.
On behalf of Imran Khan, through lawyers Latif Khosa, Intizar Panjotha, Ali Ijaz, the application has been filed in the Accountability Court Islamabad, on which Judge Muhammad Bashir has issued notices. Chairman NAB and Director General NAB have been made parties in the bail application.
It has been stated in the petition that the petitioner has been a former Prime Minister and a well-known cricketer. The reputation of Chairman PTI is being damaged on political grounds. The court is requested to grant post-arrest bail pending the verdict in the £190 million scam case.
After the notices were issued by the accountability court, NAB prosecutor Sohail Arif received the notice in the courtroom itself. The court adjourned the hearing till December 4.
