Karachi: It has been decided to immediately issue advertisements for the posts of chairmen and moderators of the education boards in Sindh.
The government has decided to issue an immediate advertisement for the posts of chairmen and moderators of examinations in 6 educational boards of the province including Matriculation Board Karachi. The resignation summary of the chairmen is also awaiting approval in the Chief Minister’s House. Apart from this, the summary of the removal of the Secretary of Matriculation Board Karachi has also been sent to the Chief Minister of Sindh.
This was said by a senior officer of the Secretary Universities and Boards Government of Sindh during a function in University of Karachi to the question of Express. The senior officer said that acting chairmen and moderators of examinations will be appointed as a stop-gap arrangement while the recruitment phase continues through advertisement.
In this regard, Chief Minister Sindh Justice (Rtd) Maqbool Baqir has received summaries from the Department of Universities and Boards in which some Vice Chancellors and college professors have been recommended to be assigned the temporary charge of the Boards.

It should be noted that the Sindh government had removed the Chairman of Inter Board Karachi Naseem Memon and others from the post last week. He was reported to the Larkana Board, while some officers have also been dismissed from the post of Controller of Examinations, but the chairmen of Sukkur, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas have not been dismissed.
According to a senior officer of the Sindh government, the summary of the dismissal of the chairmen of these boards is also available in the Chief Minister’s House, which is awaiting approval. Apart from this, it has also been learned that the names of 3 officers of the same board, Zarina Chaudhry, Shujaat Hashmi and Azeem Siddiqui, have been sent for the appointment of acting proctor of examinations in Inter Board Karachi.
