Changed admission policy in government medical and dental colleges of Punjab

The policy of admissions in government medical and dental colleges of Punjab has been changed.

According to the details, the Punjab government has changed the admission policy in the government medical and dental colleges.

According to the new policy, extra marks of Hafiz Quran candidates were deleted from merit. Now Hafiz Quran students will not be given extra marks.

Additional numbers of Hafiz Quran were removed on the orders of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

The PMDC gave the orders following the judgment of a 6-member bench of the Supreme Court. The implementation of the new policy related to Hafiz Quran will take place in this year’s admissions.

It should be noted that earlier Hafiz Quran was given additional 20 marks. which were included in the intermediate marks.
